Barry Beavers receive generous donation from young club member

Barry Beavers accept generous sponsored donation of £1085 from one of their young gala swimmers.

Aidan Thomson, has been a swimmer for Barry Beavers Disabled Swimming Club for several

years now, he has progressed to be a valued gala swimmer, and has also represented Wales

in a national gala in 2018 held in Kent.

He is a great achiever holding a Halliwick Green Proficiency Badge.

He raised funds for the club, by partaking in a sponsored hair challenge, growing his hair to

a length of 14” before having nearly it all cut back off recently.

His mum Jen and sister Mia volunteer at the club as a Halliwick Instructor, and a Junior Helper.

BB are very grateful to Aidan for his very generous donation, we are thrilled and very proud of

his commitment to the club, thank you Aidan from all the Beavers.
